Wind power plant SternwaldThe existing wind power plant Sternwald was extended to seven wind turbines with a power of 2 MW each in August 2005. The produced amount of energy is enough to supply 9,000 homes per year or 10 % of the homes in the region of the Mühlviertel.

Photovoltaicsystem via third party financing at Lembach
During the summer months in 2005 a photovoltaic system was installed on the roof of the secondary school at Lembach in the Mühlviertel with a power of 19.2 kWp. The photovoltaic system was financed by third party financing.
